Dr. Gustavo Guillemin has BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering, as well as a PhD in Business. He currently works for Hewlett Packard in Mexico and previously lived in Boise, ID, working as an R&D manager for HP on color laser jet printers. He has also worked in supply chain, marketing, service and support, and manufacturing. Dr. Guillemin serves on four boards of directors and has worked as a consultant in several companies. Additionally, he has been a part-time professor for over 18 years at ITESO, has taught for the online MBA program at Regis University, and is currently a member of the NCU Faculty and NCU School of Business Professional Advisory Council. He has also been a visiting-professor at Boise State University, Regis University, and currently at Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences in Germany. Dr. Guillemin's dissertation was on innovation and he very much enjoys discussing new business creations, new technologies, and the impact that technology and globalization will have in the future of our society. He has ten patents, has presented two TED talks, and is currently working on his second research paper. He is married with two children. His daughter has a BS in Psychology and his son is a mechanical engineer. Both children are presently working on their master's degrees. Gustavo enjoys reading, mountain biking, and running. One fun fact about Dr. Guillemin: He is a million-miler with Delta Airlines, which means that aside from reading emails, he also tests airplane seats. Deanna Kuzel is currently an administrator for Rockbridge Growth Equity, a private equity firm located in Detroit. She also sits on Northcentral University's School of Business Professional Advisory Committee. Kuzel earned both her MBA with a specialization in finance and her Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in accounting from Northcentral University. She graduated magna cum laude. Kuzel is also a wife and mother who loves Michigan summers, spending time with family and friends, usually over a glass of wine and dinner on the grill. Her interests include history, Catholicism, and politics. She is planning a sabbatical with her husband of 29 years that includes traveling to Italy to explore the country's history of Roman ruins, opera, and exquisite wine country, as well as visiting family members they have not yet met. While she has no academic research projects planned for the near future, Kuzel is currently researching properties in Florida, since Michigan winters are getting tougher to tolerate. Gisel Hernandez was born in Havana, Cuba, and became a naturalized Mexican citizen in 2002. She graduated summa cum laude from the Polytechnic Institute CUJAE in Havana with a degree in Automated System Engineering and a certificate in Mathematical Assurance for Technical Information and Automated Management Systems. She also earned her Master's in Information Systems at the University of Guadalajara in 2002. Hernandez's teaching experience includes positions as an assistant professor (1986-1991) at CUJAE, a visiting professor (1993-1995) and an associate professor (1995-2005) at University of Guadalajara, and as a part-time professor (1994-1996) and an associate professor (1997-present) at ITESO University. She has also served as a software engineering specialist at the Center for Mechanical Industry Automation in Havana (1992-1993). Hernandez served as program coordinator for the Computer Systems Engineering program at ITESO from 2000 to 2003. She also ran the Technology Business Incubation Program at ITESO's Technology Park from 2004 to 2010, which received the Best Business Incubator Award in 2009 from the Ministry of Economy of Mexico. She obtained her Incubator Management Certificate in 2009 and is a member of the International Business Innovation Association (formerly the National Business Incubation Association). In 2005, she co-founded the REDJAL
