For those interested in leading the way, acquiring the skills you need starts with the right education. NCU's Doctor of Health Administration is designed to help you develop the highly-specialized skills needed to drive change and solve problems within healthcare organizations. Our curriculum was developed by experienced healthcare professionals and your educational experience will include interprofessional opportunities designed to facilitate teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration – considered to be the leading approach to healthcare today. As a student, you'll learn how to create administrative strategies, make evidence-based decisions, understand the impact and importance of health policy, and navigate the legal and ethical issues that are unique to healthcare. While the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME) does not offer accreditation for doctoral programs, this program aligns with their high standards for graduate programs and utilizes the National Center for Healthcare Leadership (NCHL) competency model.
