NCU Library The NCU Library is an extensive online library available 24/7, offering a searchable database containing full-text articles and abstracts from leading publications. Interlibrary loans give you access to publications from hundreds of libraries nationwide, and librarians are available to help you navigate the library and its resources. Dissertation Resources Dissertation Center – The Dissertation Center offers support materials and discipline-specific updates to help you develop a high quality dissertation, along with access to style guides and a general overview of the dissertation structure. Dissertation Boot Camp – NCU doctoral students are eligible to participate in an intensive two-and-a-half day program designed to support them in completing their dissertation. Key NCU faculty attend to answer questions, explain processes and help students gain confidence to complete their doctoral journey. Dissertation Completion Pathway – Our Dissertation Completion Pathway (DCP) recognizes past academic coursework and offers guidance to complete your dissertation. If you are an All But Dissertation (ABD) student who has completed your coursework, achieved doctoral candidacy and left your program in good academic standing, our DCP offers bridge courses and a faculty-led approach to help you finish what you started. Academic Success Center (ASC) The Academic Success Center is designed to help you gain the knowledge and skills necessary to support your success. Not only can you obtain support materials, but you can receive scholarly writing assistance and have access to live tutoring. Center for Teaching & Learning (CTL) The CTL serves as an area where faculty, staff and students can go for resources and information. It encourages student-to-student, faculty-to-student, and faculty-to-faculty engagement through webinars, workshops, training programs, videos, faculty publications and cutting edge research and information. Student Technology Resource Center NCU provides tools to help you become a successful online scholar at no additional costs. Microsoft Office 365 email and Office 365 ProPlus form the cornerstone, including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneDrive). MS DreamSpark and a variety of other software are available to download at no cost. IT Help Desk With helpful experts available 24/7, the IT Help Desk provides resolution to any technical difficulties experienced while utilizing student resources. NCU Store Our students like to show their pride, and the perfect resource for acquiring all things "NCU" is the NCU Store (www.ncustore.com). From warm fleeces to coffee mugs to high-quality backpacks, an assortment of logo wear is available for you to show your school spirit. The Commons NCU's recently updated private academic and professional learning network provides students and faculty the opportunity to build and participate in online communities. You can share information through live activity streams, curate your academic identity and make professional connections.
