Dorinda Noble, PhD, LCSW Dr. Dorinda N. Noble is a proud social worker who began her career in child welfare services after graduating from Tulane University with her MSW. After several years focused in child welfare, Dorinda began a career in social work education, first heading the undergraduate program at Texas Tech University and then earning her doctorate in social work from University of Texas-Austin. She joined the faculty of the Graduate School of Social Work at Louisiana State University, where she served as MSW Director. Texas State University then persuaded her to join their School of Social Work, which she directed for 15 years. Her major areas of interest are supervision and social work regulation. Though she retired from Texas State in 2016, Dorinda continues to teach supervision courses. She has agreed to join the Social Work Program at NCU as Program Director and Field Director on an interim basis.
