Doctor of Public Administration (DPA)
NCU's Doctor of Public Administration degree can
help public administration professionals prepare
for executive-level leadership roles. This program
is aligned with key industry standards. Upon
graduation, students will be able to evaluate
problems and ethical issues within an organiza-
tion, find practical solutions using evidence-based
research, and contribute to the body of knowledge
within the field.
This program provides students with a deep
understanding of the values that guide the practice
of public administration, including administrative
law, public management theory and the principles
of organization and management. It also covers
key topics such as budgeting, the role of informa-
tion technology in public administration, as well
as public personnel management. Additional
areas of focus include public policy analysis,
critical thinking, and applied quantitative reason-
ing and qualitative analysis.
