6. The final version of the book "An Introduction to MFT: Systems Theory and Foundational Models" is
now ready for publication in RedShelf!!!! That means that it will start to be used when the new version
of MFT-5101 goes live in 3-4 weeks.
7. Lisa Kelledy has stepped into her new role as a FT Teaching Faculty. As with all other things she has
done at NCU and in her life, she is giving her all to preparing for this opportunity. Her students are
enjoying the benefits of her remarkable ability to join with them and from her broad and deep view
of MFT training and education. She has very graciously supported Asha in the transition of program
directors – thanks Lisa!
8. Congratulations to Asha Sutton as the new Program Director for the MAMFT. She has prepared herself
for this opportunity for many years and in many different leadership experiences. She has hit the ground
running – thanks for all of your support to her in her new role.
9. Cassandra L-K and the Clinical Training Team (Tracy Oliver and Rachel Butterfras) are supporting
hundreds of students through the PPP and in their clinical work (along with the clinical faculty). We have
over 300 students actively seeing clients with at least that many more somewhere in the PPP. Thanks all
for your great work!
10. The three new MFT specializations and two new MFT certificates are all going to be launched with the
catalog that will come out on 11/4/19.
As always we are busy and doing great things in preparing effective helping professionals. There is always
something exciting going on at NCU and that will continue as we wrap up 2019 and head into 2020!!
