The Path of 2019 2019: The Northcentral Psychological Association began its inaugural year with several projects. First, we introduced our quarterly newsletter. This has been a valuable opportunity to share student, faculty, and department updates, spotlights, articles, and other essential points of importance related to the field. Thank you to all who have shared and helped to craft a quality forum for communicating so many diverse and professional perspectives. We also had a packed year of presentations covering a multitude of topics. Some of these included: • Work-Life Balance • Setting up a Feasible Dissertation • Developing a Research Problem • Reliability and Validity in Qualitative and Quantitative Research • Student Experiences with Dissertation Panel Presentation • Literature Review Series (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced) • Building Professionalism as a Graduate Student Each of our presentations were carefully developed and reflect the quality, careful preparation, and hard work of both faculty and students involved. All were recorded and are available online here (as well as our newsletters). We would like to thank our presenters and students who worked in support of developing and presenting during the 2019 year. Your time and investment to bring these crucial topics forward, along with such a refined level of engagement, served our community. We look forward to beginning 2020 with our next presentation series beginning with Industrial- Organizational Psychology (January) and Health Psychology (February)! More details on these are available in the Announcements section of the Newsletter. We hope you enjoyed a wonderful holiday season and look forward to "seeing" you all in 2020! Sincerely, Drs.
