Happy New Year!
I hope that you had a great Holiday Season!
In the beginning of December, we held our annual virtual winter
symposium. It was great seeing so many of you. We invited several guests
to the symposium, among them Dr. Rebecca Collins. Dr. Collins joined
us to introduce the NCU Grants Office and her vision on how we can
collaborate on establishing new avenues for building a true research
culture at NCU. Dr. Collins is a great resource for anyone wanting to
pursue a grant.
We also invited the Leadership of our Student Advisory Board (SAB) to
join us this year. It was the first time that we invited the SAB Leadership.
We had a fruitful discussion and it became very apparent to me that we
can learn much from each other, and in my mind this will be an ongoing
conversation and collaboration.
Please join me in thanking Dr. Rebecca Collins, the President of the SAB,
Shawna Larose, and the Secretary of the SAB, Joni Keith, for joining
us this year for our Winter Symposium. Their active participation in the
