NCU HAPPENINGS
NCU COMMUNITY
COMES TOGETHER
Since the beginning of March, the NCU community has found even more ways to bring
our students, faculty, and staff together (virtually). While many of us are sheltering in
place and feeling the effects of isolation, we have also seen, heard, and been a part
of a positive movement, a push to find ways to seek out interactions with those we care
about and love. The seriousness of the pandemic is real, but we should also take heart
from all of the good that is happening as a result.
NCU Community Gathering
NCU leadership hosted a virtual NCU Community Gathering for students in hopes to
provide an opportunity, similar to our NCU Unscripted, where our students could ask
questions in real time and receive answers live from our leadership. Many students who
attended asked that we continue to host these gatherings, and we will be offering these
sessions to our students on a more frequent basis. If you would like to watch the session,
the recording can be found at this link.
NCU Happy Hours
Additionally, we are hosting virtual NCU Happy Hours for any and all faculty and staff
to join in and just be together. Our first happy hour consisted of very bad dad jokes,
some good news stories, introductions to spouses and children, and many appearances
of our NCU pet support animals.
President Harpool even shared his musical talents with us! Check out this video
