First Master of Health Administration Graduate
In February, the School of Health Sciences celebrated the first graduate in the Master of
Health Administration program in the best way. Dr. Laurie Shanderson and SHS faculty
planned a virtual surprise party for the grad. Including many other staff, faculty, and
leadership, Dr. Shanderson welcomed Kayla into the Zoom with balloons in the background
and we all congratulated her on her accomplishment.
Accreditation
The site visit to La Jolla from the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) went well and
was attended by all full-time social work faculty and school leadership. We received high
praise from the site visitors and received helpful feedback to help with the accreditation
process.
NCU's School of Health Sciences achieved Candidacy Status from the Commission on the
Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME).
