DEDICATION TO OUR STUDENTS We consider all students, faculty, and staff to be members of our family, and in critical times it is important that we come together and provide support to those in need. We recently announced the development of a Student Relief Fund for those experiencing financial hardship due to the effects of the pandemic. NCU is allocating $250,000 to help our students with funds to cover school related costs on a case-by-case basis. To offer as much assistance to as many people as we can, we have planned a process for distributing micro-grants through our Financial Appeals Process. Additionally, we have developed flexible scheduling and grading policies to support our students working more hours in this time of need. NCU has budgeted this fund through reducing some activities for its own faculty and staff. We are all in this together and are all committed to the welfare and success of our students. We are going to ask the NCU community and the communities around you to continue to support one another and ask you to consider contributing to the NCU Student Relief Fund by visiting: www.ncu.edu/giving or through the ADP portal. NCU will also be participating in the global generosity movement #GivingTuesdayNow. This global day of unity will take place on May 5, 2020, as a response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. STUDENT CENTRIC. REGIONALLY ACCREDITED. NONPROFIT. Your contribution is tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Additionally, starting in tax year 2020, individuals who do not itemize can now take an above-the-line deduction for charitable donations up to $300 total.
