AMANDA ZIEGLER, MLIS,
DIRECTOR, LIBRARY SERVICES
STUDENT CENTRIC. REGIONALLY ACCREDITED. NONPROFIT.
In August, the NCU Library introduced a new interlibrary loan system called Tipasa.
The new system makes it easier to request needed resources, such as journal articles
and book chapters.
Log in to Tipasa with your NCU email to access personalized My Account pages,
make requests for content, and enable text notifications when items arrive. You will
need to reset your password before you can submit requests in the new system.
To learn more, visit the NCU Library's Interlibrary Loan Service page.
NEW TO THE COMMONS
Black, Brown, and African American Connection
This community was created to connect NCU faculty, staff, and students of color.
Its goal is to help improve the student experience, with a focus on providing social,
emotional, and academic support by creating alliances that foster a safe environment
for the betterment of society.
Native and Indigenous Collective Connection
This community is a supportive network for NCU students, faculty and staff who either
are Native or Indigenous themselves or are interested in issues surrounding Native/
Indigenous communities.
Business Incubator
The NCU business incubator is offering space for students, faculty, and staff to build
and present a business project or start-up idea. In the incubator, you can develop your
project or idea, then solicit feedback and support from others in the NCU community.
The incubator also seeks faculty who would like to offer advice and guidance. Contact
Ric Briggs for more info.
