We have amazing local supervisors that our students rave about! We'd love for you to share
resources that you use to help facilitate your supervisees' growth. For instance, do you have a
standard supervision assessment that encourages thoughtful reflection? Perhaps a tool that
you recommend your supervisees use with clients? Any tips for our newer supervisors?
We want to hear about it!
Please reach out to clinical@ncu.edu to share your resources and tips. We will happily feature
them in this newsletter and appreciate everyone's willingness to assist in our mutual growth!

inclusive. Her teaching style reminds me a bit of the
movie "Karate Kid"; you do not realize it while it is
happening. By the end of the journey, you have learned
a valuable lesson. I am truly grateful for her vast amount
of knowledge she shares and her ability to give
feedback."
"My supervisor's assistance in helping me develop
clinical professional competence during our time
working together has been nothing short of amazing.
Being able to ask any questions, call her at any time,
and getting positive constructive criticism has helped
mold me into the therapist I am today. The guidance that
my supervisor has provided will be forever cherished. I
look forward to working with her in the future."
"She has guided me through finding my own personal
way to approach family issues and individual issues.
She has provided positive feedback that has helped
learn more about my ability to trust that I am providing
good therapy work to clients and their families."
