Please know that all of your work is keenly noticed and greatly appreciated. Thank you! Darren Adamson, PhD Chair, Department of Marriage and Family Sciences Salutations to each of you, colleagues and friends! There are two topics that I often share in this exceptional faculty newsletter: 1. growth and 2. tender feelings about who you are and what we all get to do professionally. It will likely not be a surprise to you that I am going to do that again in this issue of the Faculty Newsletter. First, • Welcome to little Knox Micah Wilson – Lavi's new adorable little boy • Welcome to little Maryn Jean McDowell-Burns – Molly's lovely little girl • Welcome to little Ellis Jonathan Smith-Marek – Erika's wonderful little boy It is so wonderful to celebrate the birth of a child and the hope and joy that this brings into the lives of their parents and into the lives of all of us as fellow humans. There is such wonder in the process of them coming into the world. Lavi, Molly, and Erika, a heartfelt congratulations to each of you and your families!! 14
