10 The course learning objectives (CLOs) are drafted using verbs from NCU's approved Bloom's List. It offers an opportunity to scaffold the assignments and assess students' learning throughout the program. The Authentic Assignment List presents the SME with an overview of potential assignments that can be considered when you are writing the course. NCUOne now has a new video feature, Kaltura, that allows students to create video assignments, such as video presentations, for example. Additional modules will be as follows: Module 2: Course Development Procedures This module contains: - Explanation of Milestones • A primer on the CD process • What to expect from each team member • What the SME is responsible for doing - Explanation of what is major/minor revisions and hot fixes - Course Development Schedule Module 3: Tutorials Developing CLOs What is the quality course? How to create a grading rubric How to address diversity Teaching through engagement Module 4: Assessment Overview • Assessment maps (excel) • Program assessment and grading rubric map (word) • Video links • Quick guides • Annual assessment reports • Department reviews/strategic plan Module 5: Programs and Specializations Spreadsheets with program overviews by department Module 6: FAQ All faculty are welcome to reach out to the CD with any suggestions of what additional information would be helpful.
