Dear Colleagues,
Happy fall! As 2020 comes to a close, the Faculty Senate is just getting started in
our new year. I would like to express sincere gratitude to our outgoing Senators
and give a warm welcome to our new Senate members. It has been a unique
year, but through it all your Senators have been listening and laying the
groundwork for a robust agenda for the upcoming year.
While NCU Faculty Senators have always valued universal representation of
faculty, we are moving into the future more purposefully, infusing inclusivity in
everything we do with and for our NCU faculty body. In line with this idea is
making access to your Senators and our processes easier. I would encourage
everyone to take a few minutes to get to know your Faculty Senate representation
for this coming year and interact with them regularly. We are looking forward to
working with all of you and partnering with Provost LaNear and President
Harpool for another productive year improving the faculty experience.
