STANDING COMMITTEES & UPDATES
Communications Committee: Supports the Faculty Senate in communications
processes to maintain open, transparent, honest communication and collaboration
with key stakeholders, including faculty at large and NCU leadership. Members:
Michelle Ackerman, Robert Clegg, Kristi Harrison, Gabriele Suboch
Technology Committee: Serves the voice of the faculty to NCU leadership in terms
of technology needs to ensure quality of instruction and performance improvement.
Reports faculty needs related to technology (LMS platform, hardware, software,
communications, etc.) to the Faculty Senate and NCU. Members: Marie Bakari,
David Hildebrandt, Cary Gillenwater
Curriculum and Teaching Committee: Represents faculty from all schools to collect
and report issues, feedback, or recommendations for curriculum improvement to the
Senate. Also reports to Faculty Senate any issues or concerns related to our schools'
curriculum contents or development. Members: Robin Geiger, David Ison, Madia
Levin, Jacqueline Rogers
Wellbeing Committee: Serves as liaison between NCU faculty and leadership to
ensure the condition of NCU's faculty body remains one of holistic health and
positive welfare. Members: Stephanie Menefee, Donna Rice, Kenny Roberts
