VIRTUAL EDUCATION
SUPPORT CENTER
This new, forward-thinking center leverages our experience as
a leader of virtual education by providing educators, students,
caregivers, and communities in K-12 and higher education access
to resources for improving virtual teaching and learning. NCU is in a
unique position to support schools and learning communities in their
transition to virtual education, both in response to the COVID-19
pandemic and beyond. VESC will continue to share pertinent
resources, expert advice, and educational offerings as students of all
ages increasingly seek to engage in virtual learning opportunities.
VESC is headed by Professor Amy Lyn, School of Education. Learn

CENTER FOR PROFESSIONAL
AND CONTINUING EDUCATION
This new center will offer affordable courses, certificates, and workshops on cutting-edge professional development topics.
NCU faculty are developing courses, which will be available on demand. PACE launched its first offering February 1 with a free
course for nurses. An additional free course for school nurses will launch March 1, and eight additional courses in marriage and
family therapy will roll out this spring. PACE Director Renee Hikiji, who joined us from JFK University, can answer any questions.
