The NCU Library has launched a new service providing research consultations via recorded video. We understand that
research happens 24/7 and that finding the right time to schedule a live, one-on-one session might be challenging.
Students requesting a recorded consultation will receive a 30-minute video within three business days (Monday-Friday)
with focused tips to help tackle their research topic. The recording seeks to answer their research questions by helping
to develop a search strategy, use advanced search techniques, identify relevant databases and journals, and find and
evaluate resources. Learn more.
NEW ALUMNI WEBINAR SERIES
By Jared Loson, Senior Manager, Alumni Relations and Outreach
Alumni Relations, in partnership with the Center for Teaching and Learning, launched its first webinar series specifically
for NCU alumni, "Breaking through the Academic Barrier." The series gives advice on how to get hired in a faculty role
at the college or university level. While aimed at alumni, we welcome students as well. Webinars will be listed at https://
ncu.edu/alumni/events.
If you'd like to present at an upcoming webinar, or have a good candidate in mind, please reach out.
