10 10 A SELECTION OF CONFERENCE PRESENTATIONS, PUBLICATIONS, AND SERVICE FROM NCU FACULTY CONFERENCES AND PRESENTATIONS Lisa Hutton, dean of the JFK School of Law, was reelected to the Board of Trustees for the American Association for Paralegal Education in November. She participated virtually in their annual conference this year. As well, Dean Hutton was part of the keynote panel at the Contra Costa Bar Association's annual Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Spectacular, discussing the future of legal education with colleagues from two law schools in the San Francisco Bay Area. Dr. Melody Rawlings and Vice President Molly Gutterud presented at OLC Accelerate, the virtual conference of the Online Learning Consortium, in early November. Their talk was "Establishing a Foundation for eService through Virtual Teams." Dr. Rawlings also served on the planning committee for the International Leadership Association's 22nd annual global conference, Leading at the Edge, along with Dr. Stephanie Menefee. NCU Librarians presented at the Distance Library Services Conference, a peer-reviewed conference focused on distance and online librarianship, in early November. Marisha Kelly, Lindsay Martinez, Amanda Bezet, Sherry Mohr A Model for Leading Virtual Library Workshops by an Online University Taylor Duncan Designing Across the Distance: Embedded Instructional Design Librarianship in a 100% Online Environment Sherry Mohr Student-Centered Engagement: A Dialogue with Incoming Non-Traditional Business Graduate Student Marisha Kelly and Lindsay Martinez Library Insider: Community Connection in the Commons Amanda Ziegler Library Impact on Online-only Graduate Student Success Dr. Erin Hoffer presented a poster describing the study on "State and Local Actions to Mitigate the Spread of COVID-19" at the fall research conference of the Association for Public Policy Analysis and Management. Dr. Robin Butler served as the conference chair for the Annual Conference of the International Academy of Business. In January, Dr. Linda Mast co-hosted a webinar – "A Focus on the Curriculum: An Introduction to Scaffolding for Curriculum Development and Improvement" – for the Association of University Programs in Health Administration.
