Summary and Recommendations
The FTG is a document that SSBS has relied on for conveying important
information to faculty teaching each course. Among other aspects, this includes
information and rationale for the placement of assessment rubrics and grading
rubrics. Based on the feedback obtained in this survey, the FTG is not currently
achieving its intended goal, nor reaching enough faculty. We will present specific
recommendations to the SSBS administrative team for improving this resource.
These suggestions include improving the visibility of the FTG, revising the FTG
template, and giving SMEs more creative license in its preparation, initiating more
structured feedback gathering and updates to faculty resources after a course has
been live for several months, and sharing the results of this survey with other NCU
and NEP stakeholders.
Reminder: Faculty are always welcome to share their thoughts on improving
the FTG. Additionally, any feedback you have on a current course or resources
you wish to share with others can be added to the Faculty Resource section. The
best way to share these ideas is through the Faculty Feedback Form.
