STANDING COMMITTEES
Communications Committee: Supports the Faculty Senate in communications
processes to maintain open, transparent, and honest communication and
collaboration with key stakeholders, including faculty at large and NCU leadership.
Members: Michelle Ackerman, Kristi Harrison, Gabriele Suboch.
Curriculum and Teaching Committee: Represents faculty from all schools to collect
and report issues, feedback, or recommendations for curriculum improvement to the
Senate. Also reports to Faculty Senate any issues or concerns related to our schools'
curriculum contents or development. Members: Robin Geiger, David Ison, Jacqueline
Rogers, Pamela Zimba, Dave Lowery.
Part-Time Faculty Committee: This committee is comprised of chairs of part-time
faculty councils who also serve on the Senate. This committee focuses on part-time
faculty needs, experiences, and issues. Members: Gabriele Suboch, Jacqueline
Rogers, Donna Rice, Elizabeth Speights.
Technology Committee: Serves the voice of the faculty to NCU Leadership in terms
of technology needs to ensure quality of instruction and performance improvement.
Reports faculty needs related to technology (LMS platform, hardware, software,
communications, etc.) to the Faculty Senate and NCU. Members: Monifa Beverly,
David Hildebrandt, Cary Gillenwater.
Well-Being Committee: Serves as liaison between NCU faculty and leadership to
ensure the condition of NCU's faculty body remains one of holistic health and
positive welfare. Members: Stephanie Menefee, Donna Rice, Kenny Roberts, Theresa
Bartolotta.
