We continue to grow, hence the list above of wonderful, highly-qualified faculty that
have joined us! We also have had some success in other areas as well.
1. The MSW program has 255 students.
2. We have submitted the self-study, had a very successful site visit, and submitted
our response to four items that the site visitor wanted more information about for
the CSWE. We will hear any news regarding full CWSE accreditation for our
MSW program in November.
3. The MAMFT program is approaching the 1,800 student mark (1,765), with just
over 300 students in the MAMFT-CA program.
4. The doctoral programs have 439 students (306 PhD-MFT and 133 DMFT).
5. We heard a few weeks ago, after a very successful self-study and site visit, that
the PhD in MFT program was reaccredited with no concerns or stipulations.
The site visit team told us that they had to call the COAMFTE staff to see if they
could say that there were no items that they could not verify, as none of the
three of them had ever been on a site visit where that happened. The term of
the accreditation is until 2028! This makes history again, as our PhD in MFT
program is the only online program to achieve re-accreditation!
We are a strong and effective team, and we are doing amazing things in MSW
and MFT education. The growth - and quality-related outcomes speak for
themselves. YOU – each one of you – are what make that success a reality for the
programs and for the individual students within them.
