April Bandy -Taylor, MA, MEd Student Editor Spotlight It is with mixed emotions that I compose my final student editor spotlight contribution for the Northcentral University Psychological Association Bulletin. I want to thank Dr. Patrick McNamara, Dr. Sherry Rieder, and Dr. Maria Rodriguez for a wonderful learning experience. I genuinely valued the opportunity to serve my fellow NCU students through this position. In this last issue, we'll talk briefly about the history of the NCUPA and express our appreciation for your support of the Bulletin. When I was first entrusted as your student editor last year, I was halfway through my second academic year in the health psychology track of the PhD in psychology program here at NCU. Now I am enrolled in my prospectus course and eagerly awaiting the start of my dissertation course sequence. There is a small sense of melancholy that I am closing the chapter on my preparatory coursework. Change can be challenging, especially when we don't know what to expect. What I do know is that I am ready to begin my research. I have worked and waited for this moment, and the excitement is palpable. As NCU students, we are all collectively experiencing an enormous change as we prepare to merge. One chapter is closing, and perhaps you have mixed emotions. Those feelings are valid. While there may be uncertainty, the opportunities that await are endless. There can't be a new beginning without an ending, and I can't wait to see what happens next. I have a feeling this next chapter is going to be amazing! 3 Northcentral University Psychology Bulletin
