Staff Changes • Dr. Barb Scherzer has accepted a position working for Chris Dunham in Curriculum. Congratulations Barb, and thank you for your service to the SSBS! New Programs • We continue to explore the possibility of offering a Master of Social Work (MSW) program. School Growth • Both departments (PSY and MFS) continue to grow in size despite graduating more students than ever before. The SSBS now comprises approximately 27% of the total university population. NCU Retention/Attrition • In the past year, we have had better retention every month (except for three months where we were only a few tenths of a point below). This means we are doing a better job retaining students who enroll in our programs. Much of this can be attributed to engaging faculty and well-designed curriculum.
