Types of Projects in the SSBS:
There are different types of projects that have been completed and are currently being completed by
the SSBS.
1. Major Revisions:
• Change in the Course description/CLOs
• Change of resources for more up-to-date resources
• Change in assignments for more engaging assignments
2. Uplifts:
• Related to the transition to NCUOne
• Sometimes required a change in course description and CLOs
• Addition of more engaging activities
• Supplemented by additional materials: Course Maps, Faculty Teaching Guide, Welcome Letter
3. Content Development Projects:
• Not course specific
• ID team is not involved
• Topics relevant to the field
4. New Course Development:
• Brand new course is created
SSBS Accomplishments 2016-2017
The SSBS has been engaged in a lot of curriculum development over the past year!
MFS Department
• Major revisions: 12 courses
• Uplifts: 9 courses
• New MAMFT Electives (new courses): 9 courses (5 new CA track courses)
• 12 to 8 weeks conversion: 4 courses
PSY Department
• New MS PSY Programs: 4 Programs (Forensic, I/O, Health, CAD)
• E-book Project: 12 courses
• 12 to 8 weeks conversion: 7 courses
