Connect. Sr. Michelle Humke, CSJ, LMFT, is the Director of the Behavioral Health Department at St. Elizabeth's Health Center. She has worked in the field of behavioral health since 1984. Sister Michelle earned her license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 1991 in California, and obtained the same license in Arizona in 2007. She has practiced in San Diego, Los Angeles, Chile, South America, and now in Tucson. While in Los Angeles, she was the Clinical Director at two outpatient mental health departments specializing in the needs of the Hispanic population. Supervisor Spotlight Sister Michelle Humke, LMFT St. Elizabeth's Health Center Director of Behavioral Health Sr. Michelle has supervised interns since 2003. Since that time she has mentored more than 50 people as they have worked toward their degrees or licenses. In February, she received the "Preceptor of the Year Award" from the Arizona Alliance for Community Health Centers. The award is presented to someone "who has a sustained record of significant contributions to training . . . and has a track record of having a positive influence on future healthcare clinicians."
