Change abounds in the School of Business! Here are some of
the changes that have taken place since our last issue:
Melissa Sledge, Assistant Dean of Students
This past spring, Department Manager Melissa Sledge was promoted to
the newly created position of Assistant Dean of Students. This role serves
as a liaison between students and the School, seeing that students are
afforded resources and support for their success, in addition to acting as
an ambassador for the School through ensuring compliance with academic
and program policy. Ms. Sledge is also involved in many student
initiatives, including co-chairing the NCU Diversity Committee. We offer
Ms. Sledge our warmest congratulations on her new position.
Honora Bullock, Department Manager
In May, Honora Bullock joined the School of Business team as the new
Department Manager to succeed Ms. Sledge. Previously, Ms. Bullock
worked in Washington, D.C., in institutional fundraising administration for
an international non-profit organization. As Department Manager, Ms.
Bullock provides administrative support for the Office of the Dean and
provides special assistance with the documentation of student progression
in dissertation courses. Ms. Bullock is excited to have been welcomed into
the NCU and the School of Business community.
