GALIT ROZEN MAMFT Galit Rozen Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy (2016) Las Vegas resident Galit Rozen is an entrepreneur, business mentor, speaker, and now a marriage and family therapist. While many therapists open a tradi- tional practice, Rozen launched Galit Empowering U to use her new degree, and her past experiences, to help women accomplish their goals, break through fear, and increase self-confidence. She chose to earn her MAMFT degree at Northcentral University because of the flexibility that NCU's Department of Marriage and Family Sciences offered. "I had a full-time job, and was raising three children as a single mom," Rozen said. "I decided to go back to school to get my master's degree. Because of NCU's flexible model, I was able to do so." She originally went to a brick-and-mortar university before transferring to NCU, and was pleasantly surprised at what she found. "I was a little concerned about not having any support, but I ended up finding a lot of support from not just the students, but also from my professors who mentored me, so it was a very positive experience," said Rozen. 36
