Northcentral University is a charter member of
Golden Key International Honour Society.
Golden Key has nearly two million members
worldwide, with 375 chapters internationally.
Membership is by invitation only, and is
available to qualifying undergraduate and
graduate students enrolled at NCU with a GPA
of 3.8 or above, and at least 30 credits earned
in his or her program.
Department of Psychology students are
encouraged to join Psi Chi, the international
honor society in psychology. Founded in 1929,
Psi Chi has more than 700,000 lifetime members.
Membership is open to undergraduate and
graduate students majoring and minoring in
psychology, as well as full-time faculty members at
institutions with a Psi Chi chapter.
Delta Kappa, the International Marriage and Family
Therapy Honor Society, has symbolic and historical
significance within the field of marriage and family
therapy. The purpose of Delta Kappa is to provide
marriage and family therapy professionals a
face-to-face, ongoing scholarly forum for the
exchange of ideas related to the development of
research, theory, and clinical practice.

Student Advisory Committee
The Student Advisory Committee
meets every two months to discuss
concerns brought to them by
Department of Psychology and
Department of Marriage and
Family Sciences students. The
members of the Student Advisory
Committee provide NCU professors
and team members with essential
firsthand accounts of student needs
and ideas for the Departments.
Committee members serve two-year
terms and participate in quarterly
meetings with leaders and team
members of the Department of
Psychology and Department of
Marriage and Family Sciences.
