CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS Post-Master's Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy Our marriage and family therapy post-master's certificates are designed to help you develop skill sets and knowledge in a particular area of therapy beyond the master's degree level. This certificate is an efficient way to enhance your professional development in the specialty of your choice without the time and effort of a doctorate.The general family therapy specialization can also be designed to assist in meeting state-level requirements for licensure for those whose completed master's degree was deficient in some required course work. The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy is designed to help students develop skill sets and knowledge beyond the bachelor's degree level that can help graduates stand out in the field or help decide a direction to pursue, such as pursuing a master's degree in marriage and family therapy. The general family therapy specialization can also be designed to assist in meeting state-level requirements for licensure for those who have completed a master's degree that was deficient in some required course work.
