1. Difficulty accessing resources in RedShelf: If you or your students are experiencing access
issues to a textbook in RedShelf, please submit a ticket to the service desk (email
servicedesk@ncu.edu) indicating the name of the resource, the title of the course and the name of
your student (if applicable).
2. What can students see after completing a quiz? The student receives a Submission View of
their submission after each attempt. For each quiz, students are allowed two attempts. The
Submission View shows the option they selected for each question, score for each question,
overall score, and the feedback if the question includes feedback. The Submission View does not
show which questions are correct and incorrect. Students can determine if they got the question
correct by the individual score, and when their answer is incorrect they get feedback so they'll
know which answer is correct.
3. If you are experiencing a malfunctioning resource, please proceed as follows:
Send an email to the Director of Curriculum Development, Dr. Yulia Watters, ywatters@ncu.edu,
outlining the following:
• Title of the resource
• Title of course and course code
• Week in which the resource is used
The Director of Curriculum Development will work with a librarian to find out if the resource is still
available under a different link. If this is the case, a new link will be provided in the syllabus. If
the resource is no longer available, the librarian will provide some alternative resources to
choose from. The Director of Curriculum Development will work with a faculty member teaching
the course to select the best option.
