Overall Satisfaction
In terms of overall satisfaction, NCU
scored very similarly to other online
institutions participating in the PSOL.
Response Rate
In November 2017, 9,668 NCU
students who were not on leave
of absence were invited via email
to participate by completing the
PSOL. The survey remained open
for 29 days and 2,982 students
responded for an overall
response rate of 31%.

Student Satisfaction – 2017
Preliminary Results
Last fall I wrote in this newsletter about the Priorities Survey for Online Learners (PSOL). The PSOL is the
only student satisfaction survey instrument designed specifically for students enrolled in online learning
programs. The survey is administered by Ruffalo Noel-Levitz and allows us to compare our results
nationally with other participating institutions.
I thought I would share some of the findings for NCU as a whole using the results of the 2017 PSOL.
The results for each program will be aggregated and examined carefully as part of each program's
2017 Academic Program Review.
