I have served our University in many roles over the years (adjunct, full-time faculty, Curriculum Director, and Senior Director for the Center for Teaching and Learning), but I am most excited about this new position. In this role, I look forward to working with you to create a strategic direction for the School that will ensure our sustainability. Together, we will improve our program offerings, increase enrollment and improve the student experience in the School of Business. The past year has been a time of great transition for our School, and I am sure each of you have noticed these changes. Thank you all for your patience as we work through our recent transitions. Each change, though, has been carefully planned to improve the educational experience for all of you: students, alumni, faculty and staff. Through each of the pages of this newsletter, you will read about new developments, experienced faculty and some of the notable scholarship that comes out of our School. The School of Business leadership team is focused on fostering a sense of community among our constituents, and I hope this focus is clear in the details of our newsletter. As a University with remote faculty and students, we benefit from bringing together the voices and experiences of faculty and students around the world. We recognize the value of the professional and personal experience each of you brings to our community, and we are energized by the talent and scholarship you share with your field of study as a result of your efforts in the School of Business. In the following pages, we hope you recognize familiar names, learn new ones and find yourself invigorated to contribute to our community. Wherever your educational and scholarly journey takes you, we are pleased you are a part of the Northcentral University School of Business community. I personally invite you to share/participate in our ongoing communication through The Commons, social media, or by contacting us at sb@ncu.edu. Kelley Walters, PhD, MBA | Dean, School of Business
