We are regionally accredited through the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) which is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council on Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and are eligible to participate in some federal aid programs administered by the U.S. Department of Education. This means that we meet all applicable academic standards set by our accreditor and the U.S. Department of Education and it permits students that attend our university to use federal funding, including financial aid and loans. Additionally, many of our programs hold programmatic accreditation. This type of accreditation ensures that our programs are closely aligned with industry needs. It also indicates that our programs have earned recognition from a specialized accrediting body. Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Our Business Administration programs in the School of Business are accredited by ACBSP, a leading accreditation association for business education. Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE) Our Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and Doctor of Philosophy in Marriage and Family Therapy Programs are accredited by COAMFTE. International Accreditation Commission for Systemic Therapy Education (IACSTE) Our Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy and Doctor of Philosophy in Marriage and Family Therapy Programs are also accredited by IACSTE.
