The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) team is
dedicated to providing service, resources, support,
and training to students and faculty with the goal of
improving the overall NCU experience. The CTL
takes a multi-faceted approach to meeting their
mission by offering resources through its resource
centers; hosting student and faculty webinars;
designing, developing, and facilitating
asynchronous training courses; and overseeing The
Commons, a platform that offers a space outside of
the classroom for the NCU community to connect-.
The CTL also takes an active role in various
University committees and projects.
How can you take advantage of some of the
services the CTL provides? If you have not yet done
so, get involved in The Commons. There are over
80 communities in The Commons and the School of
Business has 12 dedicated communities. Join any of
these communities to start a discussion, ask a
question or celebrate an academic achievement.
Check out the CTL resource centers in The
Commons to learn more about NCU technology,
visit the Dissertation Center, explore Faculty best
practices, and listen to recorded webinars. Keep an
eye out for future webinars that may interest you.
We are always excited to have members of the
NCU team guest present.
The CTL team would love to hear from you if you
need support, would like to request a resource,
suggest a webinar topic, or ask a question. You can
contact us at ctl@ncu.edu.
