FEEDBACK FROM LOCAL SUPERVISORS During the call with clinical instructors, local supervisors have provided the following feedback regarding the MAMFT program. This feedback is shared and discussed during weekly clinical Faculty meetings. This is the feedback we have discussed and our plan for follow-up. Local supervisor thinks students should build rapport with clients for a certain amount of time before asking to record sessions. Local supervisor shared that students need more support from Faculty re: model development. Recording sessions are discussed in Practicum I & II (e.g., during the week three informed consent assignment). Faculty and administration will create a mini lecture on "How to discuss recording with clients" and make available in the student resources. The clinical team will mention this topic in the clinical readiness interview and supervisor check in meeting. Faculty created proprietary resource materials/chapters on models to be included in NCUOne. Local supervisor suggested that Faculty/administration visit sites in person to get a vibe of placements, site directors, supervisors, etc. Local supervisor posed questions about offsite/onsite communication and collaboration Students are required to submit a site video walkthrough during the practicum preparation process (PPP), including images and/or video footage of site; one state, North Carolina, requires in person vetting (local faculty visit NC sites in adherence to this regulation). Offsite local supervisors are encouraged to build rapport with site directors and determine the appropriate level of communication and collaboration. The clinical team will inquire about site director-offsite supervisor rapport during the clinical readiness interview and supervisor check-in meeting. The Faculty will inquire during synchronous supervisor conference call and asynchronous check-in assignment. Although the amount of required relational hours has been reduced, we will maintain the higher standard of 250 hours for now, due to our online status and attempt to support students counting hours in various states. The administration will research trends in required relational hours across various states. Local supervisor asked, "Why do we require 250 relational hours when the new COAMFTE v.12 requires 200? Will we consider reducing our requirement?" The clinical team will inquire about students' termination/transition plan when there is a change in status and/or when they are approaching the end of the last clinical course. Students and local supervisors are reminded to consider ethical guidelines on non-abandonment. Local supervisor asked how students are informed about transitioning clients. FEEDBACK SHARED BY LOCAL SUPERVISOR CLINICAL MEETING CONVERSATION AND FOLLOW-UP
