Master of Science in Cybersecurity
Data makes the world go around. It's at the heart
of business, government, finance, healthcare and
many other sectors that are vital to our country.
We rely on the security of this data to protect our
economy, our personal information and our
country's infrastructure. As we grow more reliant
upon this data, we also grow more vulnerable.
Protecting this complex cyber infrastructure takes
constant vigilance, dedication and education.
Our Master of Science in Cybersecurity program
exposes students to the latest tools, practices,
methods and procedures used to manage and
protect critical information infrastructures and
other sensitive assets. This arms students with the
knowledge they need to protect systems, networks,
and data from disruption, unauthorized access,
alteration or even destruction.
This comprehensive program investigates the
current trends and emerging threats in the
industry. Students will use monitoring systems,
intrusion detection functions and forensic tools
to identify cyber threats. They will then learn
how to secure networks and systems and prevent
subsequent attacks. The MS in Cybersecurity
program will prepare students to work within this
dynamic field by helping them gain the skills,
hands-on experience and practical knowledge
needed by today's cybersecurity professionals.
