Master of Science in Data Science Data plays a critical role in nearly every industry today, from retail and insurance to biotech, government and manufacturing. Data can be a powerful tool, but to be effective it must be properly gathered, organized, understood and stored. This work requires data professionals that understand how to help organizations utilize data to make smart, data-driven decisions. Our Master of Science in Data Science program is designed to help students gain a deeper understanding of this emerging, interdisciplinary field. Students will gain a broad knowledge base that includes the data science life cycle including research design, data acquisition and management, quantitative methods, statistical interpretation and data reporting. This program is designed and taught by experienced professionals to ensure that it's aligned with current industry needs. It takes students through a broad range of topics such as the principles of data science, data mining, big data integration, predictive analytics, and data visualization.
