MASTER'S PROGRAMS
Master of Science in Health Psychology
In Northcentral University's Master of Science
in Health Psychology program, you will examine
the application of psychological principles that
can prevent illness, improve personal health
outcomes and impact health care systems at
large. You will focus on the psychological study
of health, wellness and illness, along with
recovery, from the perspective that these
phenomena arise from a combination of
physical, behavioral, and social conditions.
You will be able to select electives focusing
on such topics as substance abuse, adult
psychopathology, trauma and wellness.
At the culmination of this MS program, you
have the option of completing a capstone
project or a non-clinical internship. This gives
you the opportunity to demonstrate a wide
range of professional competencies, and apply
what you have learned in your studies.
