In addition, students will learn about improving the educational experience for students from diverse backgrounds. Educational psychologists work in a variety of settings including schools, preschools, government agencies and nonprofit organizations. Regardless of setting, educational psychologists seek to remove obstacles in the learning process so that everyone can learn and grow. Working in this field allows you to change lives for the better, making education more accessible to all. At the culmination of this program, students have the option of completing a capstone project or an internship. This gives students the opportunity to demonstrate a wide range of professional compe- tencies, and apply what they have learned in their studies. 15 Program at a Glance: Total Credit Hours: 30 Courses: 10 Optional Internship NCU's psychology programs are not licensure programs and do not prepare an individual to become a licensed psychology or counseling professional.
