LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT: David Wade, PhD Dr. David Wade is the NCU School of Business Curriculum Director and has been a leader and educator in higher education and the high-tech industry for over two decades. Previous to NCU, he served in higher education as an associate dean, director of academic planning, and assistant professor of information systems, and has led efforts at high-tech corporations, including Intel and Novell, as a practice manager, technical trainer, and learning and development specialist. His research interests include artificial intelligence in education and the effectiveness of online learning. He has been published numerous times and was awarded the Intel Learning Innovation Award and the Novell Customer Services Employee of the Year. He holds a PhD in Instructional Technology from Utah State University and an MBA from Brigham Young University. Linda Larsen Ms. Linda Larsen joined NCU as the international academic operations manager in May 2017. Prior to coming to NCU, she served as a senior program advisor, consultant, program manager and coordinator at a number of institutions. She has over a decade of experience working in international education, especially in China. As a fluent Mandarin speaker and life-long learner, she has also studied and lived in Shanghai. Her program management experience ranges from advising students and supervising staff, devising recruitment tools and processes, writing grant proposals to liaising and sustaining institutional relations between international and U.S. partners. Linda earned her Bachelor's in Economics and East Asian Studies from UCLA and her Master's in Education Administration from the George Washington University.
