7 Dr. Tracy Oliver, LMFT Associate Director of MFT Clinical Training Dr. Oliver is a state of Florida licensed marriage and family therapist and provides counseling for individuals, couples, and families, as well as local supervision. She joined the NCU family in early 2016 as an adjunct faculty member teaching the Foundations and doctoral specialization courses. Dr. Oliver's dissertation involved research around the functions of multigenerational family secrets and her research interests include the exploration of family patterns and family curses, as well as the online supervision experience. Dr. Oliver now facilitates NCU supervision for clinical groups. She was awarded the AAMFT Minority Supervision Stipend Award in 2016. Dr. Oliver enjoys spending time with her family and friends and encourages supervisees to identify and implement self- care in a way that will benefit the personal and clinical systems we are all a part of. Dr. Oliver looks forward to working with you on this clinical journey! Dr. Kristi Harrison, LMFT Associate Director of Doctoral MFT Clinical Training Kristi Harrison has been with NCU as full-time faculty since 2013, teaching in both the master's and doctoral programs. She works with students in foundations and clinical courses, as well as Military Families specialization courses. She joined the clinical team in August 2019 to work with doctoral students in their practicum and internship experiences. As a clinician, Kristi has worked in a variety of settings, including providing residential eating disorder treatment, in-home family therapy, and community- based care for refugees. Kristi completed her master's in couple and family therapy from University of Oregon and her PhD in marriage and family therapy from University of Connecticut. She is an LMFT licensed in Michigan and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. She hails from Pittsburgh, but has lived all over, including Washington DC, Oregon, Boston, North Dakota, Germany, and now Louisiana, where she lives with her husband and two sons. Rachel Butterfras, MFT Clinical Coordinator Rachel Butterfras is the clinical coordinator for the Marriage and Family Therapy Department's clinical students. She assists students with onboarding into clinical preparation and approving their proposed sites and supervisors. She also provides support for the duration of their clinical experience. Rachel has been with NCU for seven years and enjoys interacting and guiding students as they begin their journey into field experience. Rachel received her Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University in 2010 and currently resides in Abilene, Texas with her husband of eight years and two little girls. She enjoys reading and cooking. Daydreaming about taking childfree vacations (or a nap) have also become recent hobbies. SSBS AND UPDATES
