The mission of the NCU Faculty Senate is to "exercise its vested authority to work with
the University's administration to represent faculty interests in the areas of program and
curriculum development, institutional and administrative effectiveness, the education
environment for students, the working environment for faculty, and the promotion of
inclusiveness within the university's diverse community"
(NCU Faculty Senate Charter, 1.1).

Senate responsibilities include:
• Meeting monthly to discuss faculty needs
• Attending Academic Affairs Committee meetings
• Consulting with Faculty and University leadership as needed on other issues
