Erin Rae Hoffer, PhD, chaired a session and presented two papers, "Dynamics of Climate Regulation: A Grounded Theory Study of the Real Estate Industry" and "Case-Based Teaching: Using Stories for Engagement and Inclusion", at the International Conference on Social and Education Sciences (IConSES) in Denver, Colorado. Carissa Smock, PhD, continues to be busy with presentations and papers! • Dr. Smock and two colleagues presented "Linking primary care place-based active recreation (like walking and cycling) referrals to community/home resources" (Ohio Public Health Combined Conference May 2019). • Dr. Smock also presented on this topic at NCU Symposium 2019, with colleagues, to the Cleveland Metroparks board members in August 2019, and is scheduled to again present at the American Public Health Association Annual Meeting in Philadelphia in November 2019. Additional presentations scheduled are: • How often is where patients live, work, and play considered in clinician exercise referrals and prescriptions: An examination of the playing field.
