Dr. Esbitt is a licensed clinical psychologist who currently serves as Assistant Professor of Family and Social Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and Senior Psychosocial Faculty for the Primary Care/Social Internal Medicine, and Family Medicine Residency programs, and pre and postdoctoral training programs in Primary Care Psychology in the Department of Family and Social Medicine, Montefiore Medical Center. Her clinical interests include health psychology and trauma, primary care psychology, patient provider communication in medical settings, advocacy, and interprofessional training and career development. She currently serves on the boards and committees of several professional associations, including the Society for Health Psychology and the New York State Psychological Association.
