A NOTE FROM THE MFT
TEAM ON COVID-19
We thank you for your support of our student(s) during their
clinical training experience. Your efforts add so much value
to the success of the NCU MFT programs. During this time of
uncertainty related to the coronavirus, we want to be sure
that we are collaborating with you to support our students.
We want you to see the messages we have sent to students
who are currently in clinical training (see below).
We support any decisions that you make related to how to
best protect your staff, clients, and students from undue risk
of exposure to the coronavirus. Accordingly, if you decide to
close or to provide only tele-therapy, we will simply need
some basic documentation that the student will request from
you. Please click on the link below to get a sense of the
documentation we will need to be able to demonstrate to
COAMFTE that there were reasons for waiving requirements
for a designated period of time. Let us know what questions
arise, and we wish you well as you continue your efforts to
provide services to your clients.

attention for the past several weeks. As people who are
engaging with the public, we wanted to provide you with
some directives and resources to assist you in staying safe
and managing this public health concern.
