The WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) will conduct NCU's
Reaffirmation of Accreditation Onsite Visit from October 7-9, but this "onsite visit" will be
held virtually to protect the health of NCU and WSCUC employees.
The schedule will remain much the same, and the WSCUC Review Team will speak to
NCU faculty, staff, and leadership from all departments and schools. The only substantial
change is that most of the NCU employees chosen to participate in the virtual visit will not
be required to travel to NCU headquarters in La Jolla, California.
To prepare, please revisit the information provided in components 1-6 of the NCU 2020
Reaffirmation of Accreditation Preparation course in MyDevelopment. This training is
required of all NCU faculty and staff to ensure you can speak to the many ways NCU
achieves WSCUC standards for accreditation and corresponding criteria for review on a
daily basis. Components 7 and 8 of the Reaffirmation of Accreditation training course will
be released in mid-July and early August, respectively. Team members participating in the
onsite visit will have additional training sessions over the summer.
