10 CELEBRATE WITH US A SELECTION OF CONFERENCE PRESENTATIONS, PUBLICATIONS, AND SERVICE FROM NCU FACULTY PUBLICATIONS Psychology Professor Maria Antonia Rodriguez recently published a chapter titled, "Intersection of Working Motherhood and Health" in Encyclopedia of the UN Sustainable Development Goals: Gender Equality. The chapter explores the latest data on how working motherhood affects women's health globally, including how COVID-19 has affected this group. School of Education faculty members Ashley Babcock and Linda Cummins, contributed the article, "Mentoring in the Time of COVID: Reflections from One Online University" to The Learning Assistance Review's special issue on COVID-19, published October 1. AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS Brenda Stevenson-Marshall, content expert and part-time faculty for the MHA and DHA programs, received the 2020 Lyndon Haviland Public Health Mentoring Award. The award, given by the American Public Health Association, honors excellence in public health leadership and innovation. Dr. Stevenson-Marshall was honored for her unwavering support, encouragement, and passion in advocating for students and early-career professionals, and for engaging and welcoming mentees among APHA membership. Dr. Stevenson-Marshall's dedication to our students is evident as she mentors, supports, and encourages our MHA and DHA students, as well as the School of Business students taking their specialization courses with us.
