This form is an addition to the two existing curriculum feedback forms:
Faculty Feedback Form
This is used to gather your thoughts, ideas, and reflections on the existing courses
that you are currently teaching. This form is broad as it is designed to attend
to specific issues, such as a broken link, as well as invites you to share any
curriculum-related ideas that you might have.
Course Revision Feedback Form
Course revision feedback is shared with faculty by the Curriculum Director before
an existing course is going to be revised to welcome your thoughts on any specific
ideas, suggestions, and ideas pertaining to the existing course.
For faculty who just joined the SSBS team, there are different ways
that the feedback can be incorporated:
HOTFIX: Fix that is done in the current/live course. It does not require issuing a new
version of the course. The changes have to be made in the content master (the main
file for the course) plus in every course file faculty offering of that course (each faculty
has a duplicate of the course made from the content master that is attached to their
faculty ID). An example: broken link. A hotfix can be completed by the School.
MINOR REVISION: This change requires NCU to issue a new version of the
course. It does not require a change to the course description, course learning
objectives or the course title. An example: change in the book edition and all
the changes that will be required to align the syllabus with the new edition. The
change is implemented by the Instructional Design (ID) Team. This change does not
require the review by various Committees (University Assessment and Curriculum
Committee (UACC), Academic Affairs Committtee (AAC), School Assessment and
Curriculum Committee (ACC)).
MAJOR REVISION: This change might impact the course title, course description,
course code, or course learning objectives. It is usually scheduled by the School. It
is implemented by the ID Team. It requires the review of the ACC and, in the case of
a course sequence change, by UACC and AAC.
